DESCRIPTION:Murder Mystery Party – Midsommar Murders\nJoin us for our Murder Mondays at DSSOLVR Durham! \n*Story details: “Midsommar Murders”. Follow a group of attendees at a Midsommar Festival where nothing is as it seems. This has been voted as our most difficult murder mystery to figure out\, so bring your sleuthing and out-of-the-box thinking skills! \nThis murder mystery functions as a follow-the-story with scripts passed out through the night\, and character traits and secrets provided to each attendee. There are no scripts for this story\, but many more individual secrets An intermission will be built in to provide time for food and drinks. \nThis event will take place at DSSOLVR Durham. The cost for this event is $20 and can be paid via Venmo to @Gina-Grossbauer\, Zelle to 570-954-1207\, or by credit card. Paypal can go to shivershaunted@gmail.com. If you need a different way to pay\, please send me a message and let me know. \nPayment prior to the event is required to secure your spot and give you a character. The refund period is 24 hours prior to the event which is also when RSVPs close. Once I receive your payment I will send you a writeup of your character with secrets and details. DESCRIPTION:Pints and Pottery: Ceramic Pipes\nDate: Sunday\, April 12\, 2026\, 6pm-8:30pm (Please arrive early if you plan to order a beverage before class. Plan to end on time.) \nLocation: Dssolvr Brewery\, 630 Rigsbee Ave\, Durham\, NC 27701 \nEnjoy a beverage at Dssolvr Brewery in Durham\, NC while you design and sculpt your own smokable ceramic pipes! You will be provided with cream-white clay from which you can make two ceramic pipes in 2 different styles: traditional bowls and chillums. \nI will teach you how to apply underglaze decal images to personalize each pipe\, or you can carve and stamp designs. A wide variety of designs will be offered such as fungi\, plants\, and animals\, and some are pictured here. \nAt the end of class\, I will take your pipes to my studio to be fired\, waxed\, clear-glazed\, and fired again. They will be dishwasher safe. Your pipes will be available for pick-up at Dssolvr in Durham once they are finished. \n***Very important*** Pottery is a bit of science and a lot of physics\, and random things happen in the creation process. I will try my absolute best to care for your creation from start to finish\, but strange things do happen as slabs dry\, such as cracking and warping. I will explain how you can likely prevent them while we are sculpting\, but I’m always surprised by what clay will do. By signing up for this class\, you accept the fate of the kiln gods\, and there are no refunds or replacements for projects that do not survive the process. \n\nYour pipes will be available for pick-up at Dssolvr in Durham once they are finished.  \n\nFAQ: \nQ: Do I need to know how to work with clay to take this class? \nA: No – you do not need to have any knowledge about working with clay to make trinket dishes using this method! \n\nQ: What do I need to bring? \nA: Your ID for a beverage and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. You will be provided with 1 pound of clay and several colors of underglaze to choose from. \nI will teach you how to make miniature mushroom sculptures. After creating a few\, you may paint them with underglaze. \nAt the end of class\, I will take your creations to my studio to be fired\, waxed\, clear-glazed\, and fired again. They can be kept outside in the garden or inside the house!
